Q: How much does it cost to register?
A: Nothing. For a Limited Time Registration is FREE.
Q: Do I have to register to use the site?
A: No. You can browse and search ads without registering. You should still register, to save time, as the site will remember various preferences for you. If you want to create ads, you will need to register. Registration is FREE.

Q: How Long Does an Ad Run?
A: Each ad runs for 30 days.
Creating and Managing Ads
Q: Do I Have to Register to Create Ads?
A: Yes. You must be a registered user to create ads. Registration is free.
Q: I created an ad, but it does not show up in search results. Why?
A: You need to run your ad. Go to My Account and click on Run ad to the left of the ad you wish to run. The system will ask for your credit card information, and your ad will run as soon as your payment is processed.
Q: What Category Should I Put My Ad In?
A: You should select the most appropriate category you feel would draw the most traffic for your product or service.
Q: What region should I put my ad in?
A: The region you live in. By default the region will be the region you specified on your profile when you registered, but you can change this at any time.
Q: Will my ad be visible in other regions?
A: Yes. All ads are visible in any region. The system will, however, always show a person ads in their region first, then ads from outside their region.
Q: Can I rank my 'Feature Ad' to ensure its placement at the top of the list?
A: Sorry. All feature ads are placed in a rotation so that at any given time, or page re-fresh, the ads appear in random order, ensuring fair visibility to all our advertisers.
Q: I want to create an ad but I don't see the appropriate Category.
A: Simply send us an email to request your Category. If it's appropriate to the Community, we'll add it to the site.
Using The Photo Gallery
Q: How does the Photo Gallery work?
A: In the My Account functions screen, click on 'Submit Photos'. Simply upload the photos you wish to submit to our site, specifying a Caption (Title) for each and hit 'Submit'. We will review and approve your photos prior to placing them in our site's Photo Gallery.
Q: I want my photos to appear in a specific Category of the site. How do I do that?
A: You can do that in one of two ways:
When placing an ad:
You can upload up to 10 photos per ad in the Category of your choice.
OR,
If you wish to provide photos to the Photo Gallery, independant of an ad you can do that too:
1. Login to your 'My Account' screen and click on 'Submit Photos'. You can upload five photos at a time.
2. With our approval, your photos will appear in the main Photo Gallery of our site.
Q: I want my photos to appear in a specific Category within the site's Photo Gallery.
A: Simply send us an email immediately following your photo submission and outline the following:
1. Provide the Captions of the photos you submitted, so we know which photos you're referring to.
2. For each photo, tell us the Category in which you want your photos to appear (eg. Audio Classifieds > Amplifiers).
3. A region of the country you wish to see your photos displayed (optional).
4. A detailed description of each photo, should you wish to add it (up to 250 characters).
Events
Q: How do I submit an Event?
A: Log in to your account and using the 'My Account' functions, click on 'Submit Event'. Once you've completed filling in the form, your Event will appear on our site once we've reviewed and approved it. Please note, that unlike ads, your Events will not be listed in your account screen, and will cease to appear on our site according to the end date you've specified.
Privacy
Q: I don't want my name, phone number or email address to appear on your site. What should I do?
A: You can have all your personal information remain private. Update your personal privacy preferences from the My Account page.
Q: If all my information is private how can a buyer contact me?
A: When your ad appears, instead of showing your contact information the following appears: "This seller has chosen to remain private. You may contact this seller via anonymous email by clicking here." The prospective buyer completes an on-line form and the system sends you an email without revealing your information to the prospective buyer.

Regions
Q: How Do Regions Work?
A: www.audiobasics.biz covers Canada and the U.S. All states and any city with a population of 100,000 or more is listed as a region. For Canada we have all the provinces listed. When you register or create ads, you select a region. When you browse ads, ads in your region will be shown first. When you search for ads, ads in your region will be shown first.
Q: I don't see my city listed. What region should I choose?
A: For the USA Choose the city closest to you or the state you live in. For Canada select the province you live in.
